Review on ASUS X570 Plus Motherboard paired with VG248QG Monitor – A Dynamic Duo for High Performance Gaming and Productivity by Mark Turner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The AMD 5000 series is allowed. Cool and efficient.

I was a little worried after receiving the box. He wasn't promoting the AMD 5000 series, but also hinted at the information on the website that a BIOS flash might be required. This model does not support flashing the BIOS with a non-CPU AMD system. He did, however, promote it at the top of the Revain page. So I was nervous when assembling it. I can confirm that the BIOS version included here supports it perfectly. I installed an AMD 5800z with no problems. Super charged. The temperature in the case is excellent after installation. There are no problems connecting the ports. If I had anything to complain about here, it's software that can be downloaded from the ASUS website. You don't have everything in one package. Everything you need is semi-hidden in different categories. The cable for the supplied WLAN antenna is also not very long. Maybe only about 3 feet. Otherwise, I am very satisfied. Performance seems great. The efficiency is really good. Basically I am very satisfied with the board. This line of motherboards from AMD generates slightly less heat than many other 570 models, which is a big plus.

Pros
  • A wide color gamut ensures accurate color reproduction.
Cons
  • Screen burn-in: This occurs when a static image is displayed on the monitor for too long and continually burns into the screen.
