I was very impressed with the 11 inch blue light bar. glowing fish and some glowing decorations. I had to turn on the main lights with a timer and the blue mode wasn't very bright. I bought this bar to have some color in the evenings. It works via a switch and has a really nice effect. Luminous things stand out and are bright, but not unpleasant. The light is bright enough that I can also see other fish. The switch is easy to use and the lights stay in place remarkably well. Cups to attach it to the plastic lid. I had to close the hole to keep my cats out of the tank, so I have to lift the lid every time I feed the fish or use the tank. The lamp went off a few times in the first week, but now I haven't gone to bed for several months.
