3 out of 8 pieces of jewelery broke before or during removal from the packaging. The nutcracker's sword broke trying to carefully pull it out of its plastic wrapper, the rat king broke into several pieces when I tried to hang it on the Christmas tree because the decoration came off the rope and fell off, and I don't even know how Clara did broke his leg. Needless to say, the jewelry is insanely fragile. Beautiful but too fragile to use. I was so excited to buy them and decorate a nutcracker Christmas tree for my little ballerina, but after a few seconds my excitement turned to extreme disappointment.
