My 51/2 year old loves these water shoes and so do I. Great quality, unlike cheap department store Speedos. For sizing comparison, my daughter wears a size 11 Crocs and usually wears a W or XW in New Balance tennis shoes. . I bought 2 sizes; 29 and 30 euros; Size 30 was too big, her heel kept coming out. 29 fits perfectly. She's been wearing them in the pool for the last 2 months and they've held up great! The insoles don't slip or fold underfoot (like the Speedo). There are also small holes in the insoles, which greatly speeds up drying (see my photo). The bases are very strong; She can wear them like normal shoes if she wants. I will buy them every summer as long as the quality stays high. Happy daughter, happy mother.
