Review on 🧒 J-1 Hat Steamer, 120V by Jiffy by Michael Thaxton

If you steam your own hats, this device pays for itself

I have to say right away, it was a great purchase! I bought this primarily for my three Beaver Resistol cowboy hats. I have been designing and redesigning fields for around 25 years. I mainly used teapots and small saucepans with vented lids. Last year I broke down and bought a clothes steamer from Walmart. I have found that my steam iron works better. I used to look at "Profi" type hat steamers, but the price was always too high for me. for the average Joe. Then I see the Jiffy Hat Steamer and it costs just under $150. I've worn cowboy hats most of my life and I think I'll wear them to the day I die, so investing in a Jiffy steamer was easily justified. The Jiffy Steamer is very easy to use. You fill the jug with water and screw on the lid, plug the jug into the steamer's jug socket, plug in the power cord and turn on the power switch. I think it was about two minutes and steam was coming out of the sink. You get a good steady burst of steam and only steam, there was no splashing of water like my steam iron. Even my clothes steamer spits out water if you overfill it, and this thing takes a few refills to even get a hat. In less than 15 minutes I lowered the crowns onto two of my hats. and changed borders on all three. I turned the unit off and unplugged it, let it cool for a few minutes, then drained the water from the jug and simply stood the unit upside down over the sink, drained the excess water from the unit and set it aside to dry on the counter . In my woods, the store charges $25 apiece to make the block and rim mold, which means I can buy a jiffy steamer for a price that can be made twice. Well yes I have. Once I make my hats a second time, the steamer pays off, and remembering that my brim shape is free afterwards. You must like it! This Jiffy steamer is easy to use and gets the job done perfectly, no. Water refill breaks, so it is also very convenient to use. I love this purchase and am glad I did. Highly recommended!
