Others say that as soon as you open the packaging the wire comes loose leaving you in a mess. To deal with this I used a sharp knife and cut the ring down the middle of the inside diameter (see picture). This allowed me to pull the wire out of the spool without any problems. As far as quality goes, so-so. 26 gauge wire (0.0155 inch diameter). The standard gauge for telephone wire is 24 gauge (0.02 inch diameter or 1/3 the thickness of the wire). This will make the wire brittle when you plug it into the terminal block. However, it works well with RJ-11 connectors.
