I've lost three rangefinders over the years. In each case, only the path of the cart is the rule. I take a range finder and some clubs to the ball, check the distance, put down the far clubs and range finder and shoot. If the shot is particularly bad or good, I might forget to grab a range finder in the heat of the moment. (Yes, I know my mental game needs work). The striped bird avoids this problem. It doesn't improve my mental game, but it does help keep an eye on the rangefinder. Now when I make a footage, I attach it to one of my unused clubs with magnets. When I get clubs, I get a range finder. It also sticks well to golf cart roof racks, unless they are non-magnetic. The bright color also helps keep things organized. It was a bargain
