Well, like other reviews, the instructions could be clearer. There's only one way they can go together, and it's not specified in the directions. Parts D1, D2 or completely different letters should be marked on it to make it clearer. Also, some of the pre-drilled holes don't match up. After all, the color is not espresso. It's more of a taupe and when I took it out of the box the surface was scratched. On the plus side, it's affordable and will serve its purpose as a reading nook.
