This is a great price if you are looking for a functional product with a beautiful look. Some things to consider; If you're buying it primarily for drawers, you need to know they'll work, but they won't have the best hardware, so they may not feel perfectly smooth. They work great, but you're not getting high-end drawer hardware at this price point. Even if you build other products like this one, this one will take some time to build. If you're new to this type of stuff, lay out all the pieces and just take your time. Take about an hour and take your time. Take a small bottle of wood glue (not in the instructions) and if using wooden dowels, put a small amount of glue in the holes in the shelf or on the dowel before connecting. This adds extra support and keeps the piece together well. Have a small damp cloth handy to wipe away any excess glue before it dries and you should be good to go. The interior of the drawers is 13 7/8" wide (side to side), 9 5/8" deep (front to back) and 3" tall. I use this in my office between two sitting chairs. It is great for a variety of things, a place to sit for coffee during staff meetings, books/samples/magazines and even some candy jars just in case.
