I ordered this for my one of my gold doodles that has a tendency to freeze. We've moved from the Southeast to the Midwest, and he's not used to this cold. I took a chance and ordered based on the reviews. McMurphy is about 52 pounds and I wanted him to be nice and long on my back so I ordered an XXL. It is slightly smaller than the Golden Retriever. It fits perfectly, is very well made and is made of 100% wool. Washed cold and tumble dried on low heat.
