These lights are an easy way to update your old standard lighting. I installed 6 of these in under an hour. If you can't choose the color of the light (daylight or soft), you have three built-in options. I actually connected one to the lamp socket to see the difference between the three options this light offers. Three options are available by flipping the switch on the light side. These lights are on a dimmer switch and dim flawlessly. There is no flicker. I highly recommend.
