We live in California and after this year's terrible fire season we're putting together an Emergency Kit Closet. After we drove off and started the truck to listen to the hourly news and to charge our mobile "hotspot", our phones, Kindle, our headlights and GPS and finally the truck's battery, we bought this little power bank that does the Getting the most out of these things. What we also wanted was a weather and radio update, and both worked. We're in a small town in Redwood County, and while many of our neighbors have generators, we don't. Our radio reception can sometimes be patchy. This radio works fine and we didn't have a radio at home. Reading the setup guide got the power back on, so maybe he was lucky too, ju-ju! I'm very glad we have it if PGE isn't over yet.
