Good stiff bristles
I have been using Yerba Prima brushes for over a decade. I use them to comb the skin to stimulate the lymph nodes and soften the skin. It is great! The bristles are typical, very stiff, rough, I'm used to that. If you have issues with sensitive skin prone to hives after using these brushes, I highly recommend cleaning them thoroughly with soap and water and white vinegar and letting them dry completely on their side before use.
