UPDATE: I ordered two of these as I initially liked them, but they both broke in the same place - the plastic hinge that holds the phone to the unit. Honestly I don't quite understand why the hinge is here as it's completely unnecessary. Disappointing. Find something more permanent. Original Review: I really liked this mount at first - the next week I even bought a second one for another car. But after less than a year of infrequent use, one of them broke the plastic loop you put your phone in. The second worked fine until I got a new car, then it squeaked/rumbled non-stop. I ended up using a pair of Goggle nose pads I had on hand (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077XSL52L) where they touched the vent/car and it worked. If someone else has this problem, you can fix it for $6.99. However, it is not a good track record when one is broken and one needs to be changed, so it is difficult to recommend this product.
