Bought this set to put in every knitting and crochet bag. The size is perfect and I was happy to find the caps stay secure until removed. However, I'm disappointed that they don't cut the yarn cleanly, that's the whole point of having them. As said, you get what you pay for. live and learn I can't confirm how they can cut other items.
