Have ordered several Stormy Kromers in the past and the quality has consistently been excellent. The only reason I have to order new ones every now and then is because the guy who wears them wears them every day. and would probably wear them to bed if he could, which of course he can't. and sometimes you just need a new hat, especially when it's a heavy summer hat like this that sweats in it. They are not very easy to clean and keep waterproof. He just loves his SK. It's not uncommon to go to Upper Michigan at night and see 5-6 SK on boys and now girls of all ages. I don't know if it's fashionable now, trendy or just practical. I know they've been around for a long time, but they've become particularly popular in recent years.
