Very impressed with this little machine

Just love this little machine. I got it for a few small exhaust projects on my rally bikes. Didn't actually purchase or read any reviews, just pulled the trigger and it was there in just a few days. First of all: The quality of the machine is impressive. I didn't expect the fit and finish to be as good as it was. I was also impressed by the fact that it has post flow adjustments and automatic gas on/off. What surprised me even more was that this is not an ignition welder, it is not a lift start welder, it is a high frequency start welder. I thought this feature was reserved for high-end machines, but here it is on a $197 Chinese welder. This is a very nice feature that allows you to keep the tungsten much cleaner than a kick start. I made two modifications to this machine: 1) The 3/32 tungsten holder was more like a 1/16 so my fresh 3/32 tungsten (not included) didn't fit. I had to take my 3/32 bit and drill it out, no big deal. 2) I moved the HF start button to a more ergonomic position for my welding style. It's not the machine's fault, just my preference. Overall, this is a great machine if you're looking to learn TIG welding or if you have multiple projects to complete. So far I am very satisfied and will update this review if anything changes. Note: Tungsten, argon, regulator and welding mask are not included. You must expect to purchase an argon tank, which will cost anywhere from $80 to $180 plus refills for a hobbyist. Enjoy! Update: It's been at least 6 months and the welder is still working for my random projects. I really can't say anything bad about this little setup, it was immaculate.
