Very impressed by these gloves, so much so, I ordered a second pair. They are in fact a thick knit which I found makes them impervious to strong winds. I had them out in below 20 degree weather walking my dog for a good 3 miles / 1.5hrs - yes your blood flow will warm your hands regardless but these gloves work and they retain the warmth inside. It's surprising with mostly all acrylic construction that they work this well and they feel every bit as good as a more expensive $30+ brand. We'll see how long they hold up but for now, they're a great "fit".
