I bought this helmet cover for two reasons, firstly to prevent cold air from entering the vents of my helmet to allow my hat to do its job of warming up the head. ; the second is to keep the rain out of my head; I bought the case for both reasons, the case worked 100% and the price was very good. As an added benefit, the helmet cover has been painted neon green to make it stand out better on cloudy days and reflective markings have been added to make it stand out a bit at night, increasing the visibility needed for cycling. It fits perfectly on my Specialized Echelon II helmet thanks to its elastic band which should fit any helmet other than a helmet with a visor, my helmet has a visor but I took it off to put on a bag I don't need a visor on. anyway for winter use. All in all a very good case.
