This is not high speed. They're ideal for situations like cost-effectively distributing large numbers of copies of medium-sized files without the hassle of a DVDR. They're perfect for things like bootable USB drives for computer maintenance or installing operating systems. Most commercial USB sticks are simply overkill for so many uses and a waste of money. And sometimes you just don't need the full speed of USB3. And some older computers don't like USB 3 at all, but they still lack any optical drive. So what to do? You will receive a box with these USB sticks. yes it is one thing But it can go wrong and messed up so easily. One drive, one platform. Anything else calls for trouble. Maybe you can get a big USB drive that could theoretically replace a whole box of such devices. But in some cases, this approach has serious drawbacks. In the case of an install image, you either need inconvenient multi-boot software, or you're wasting most of your disk space with a single 2GB to 8GB image. Overwriting every time you want to install something seems like a really good way to wear out flash memory for no good reason. I am happy with the results. So far I have installed multiple operating systems on multiple computers and configured them as bootable devices. None of these drives have failed to date. I won't push them too hard once I've installed the necessary utilities on them, so I can't tell you how many read/writes they can do before they disappear. But after multiple OS installations, I can tell you that none of my system files got corrupted after multiple uses. But think of the price! In my experience, they are reliable enough to get the job done. If you're looking for something that can move or back up a gigantic and irreplaceable collection of high-resolution movies or photos in no time, look no further. For example, if you need multiple copies of a presentation shared by a group of people where online collaboration just isn't practical, this is very fit for the task and affordable.
