I was VERY hesitant to buy this. Your regular Bluetooth headset might have decent sound for music and other things, but the input doesn't usually sound any better (and often worse) than when you're on a cell phone call. The problem is that I wanted to use a wireless headset for in-game voice communication that would have the sound quality (or as close as possible) of a wired headset. I have a 5.1 system for gaming audio so I just wanted something for my voice and I hate being tethered to cables or wearing headphones that muffle my sound system and put pressure on my glasses frame. I figured a professional phone headset like the one I use at work that operates on dedicated frequencies instead of Bluetooth might be useful, but it's quite expensive and includes special features for desk phones that I really don't know about. t is required. While searching I came across the Evolve 65. It promised clear sound, blah blah blah, the usual thing all Bluetooth headsets seem to promise. So I contacted Jabra. The rep I spoke to insisted that the sound was clear and not just marketing bullshit and that this headset would meet my needs. . . . . I was not disappointed. This headset is amazing. Very light weight, wore it for many many hours of play. The battery lasts forever, charges quickly when needed, and can be used in "wired" mode with a USB charging cable connected to your computer for those all-day gaming marathon sessions when you forgot your headset at night charge beforehand. (Oh). And best of all, the sound is very clear and crisp both ways, it doesn't feel like a typical Bluetooth wireless connection! I don't know what kind of processing they do, but the mic does an excellent job of filtering out, or significantly reducing, background noise so only my voice comes through loud and clear. Works great with the VOX feature in Discord. I would highly recommend it to any gamer who wants a quality voice headset that won't take away from the enjoyment of their existing sound system.
