The only thing that made sense was the sleeve length. It seems to be good. But actually the core of the shirt was so short I couldn't believe it had an XL size label. laugh out loud. I compared this shirt to my other XL shirts and no. I'm still fat but not as fat anymore lol. 6 feet tall. And this thing was right over my waste line. The other day I was at the Volcom store itself which inspired me to make this purchase and tried on a large version of a very similar long sleeve ad they sold in the store without the XL and the length in the store was longer than this so called XL. . I think they accidentally put the XL sleeves on the center of the chest. laugh out loud. Returned.
