Review on Robinair 15300 VacuMaster Economy Vacuum Pump - 2-Stage, 3 CFM: Quality and Affordability Combined by Matt Chirila

Very quiet. Haven't used it yet other than installing the correct adapter and filling it with the oil that came with it. Directions could be much clearer. I wouldn't throw away the exhaust plug he recommended. Remove when used but do not discard. Oil was already coming out of the can at the bottom of the sight glass, which according to the manual seemed to indicate only a minor adjustment in the oil level. I had to add more than 3/4 of the supplied oil to even see the difference between an empty line and an almost full line. I will let you know if I have any problems with the pump but I don't expect them from a Robinair product. The edges of the collar push nuts on caps are sharp. Be careful, wear gloves.
