Couldn't put headphones on with a bike helmet which isn't safe anyway but with this speaker I can still listen to music while cycling. At first I wasn't sure if I could hear, but I don't have to crank the volume all the way up to hear my music. The speaker itself is like any other Bluetooth speaker. As soon as I was able to connect the speaker to my phone, everything I wanted to hear came out clearly. The sound quality is amazing and crystal clear. Nothing sounded muted or muffled during any of my travels. When it comes to mounting on my bike, I have space on the handlebars and this speaker takes up almost no space. Installation was as easy as installing a bike bell on my bike. Once you tighten that screw, that speaker isn't going anywhere. Inside there is a pad to avoid scratching the paintwork of the bike. A bonus was the fact that there is a backlight on the front of this speaker. The light is really bright LED. Not only do I have crystal clear music, but as soon as it gets dark I can see the light while still listening to my music.
