Review on Komorebi Metallic Watercolor Paint Set: 6 Shimmering Premium Colors for Artists, Students, Kids & Hobbyists by Brenda Mitchell

Beautiful shiny metallic colours. I bought a 40 color set which included 8 metallic shades and a 6 color "classic metallic" set. There are 3 double colors between the sets (bronze, gold and metallic yellow). While both sets are listed in the silver color, set 40 actually has pearls, while set 6 features the standard gray silver metallic. A set of 6 bowls is MUCH more than a set of 40, I can't tell exactly how much more paint is in each bowl as they may have filled them differently, but the size of the bowl itself is at least twice the size. The quality is very good for the price, the only negative thing I can say is that all paints have an unpleasant smell. They work as they should, good amount of colour, easy to activate with a brush and water. They look great (opaque shimmer) on dark paper, over ink, or as a second coat over other watercolors.
