Calm? Not at all! c CPU fan
The fans work without any problems during operation. They cool well and consume very little electricity. However, these fans are by no means quiet. I put them in a Marshall amp because the original fans were badly worn and short lived. I have a small studio with an AC window unit and I can hear these fans through the sound of the AC unit. Impossible with a mic and recording with those fans in the amp. Yes, I turn off the air conditioning while recording and the roar of those fans is amazing.
