I was looking for a hood that wasn't that big. I never liked square hoods. This was one of the best accessory purchases for my x100f. Not only is it small, it fits the lens perfectly, and the original Fuji lens cap fits snugly on top! Workmanship and quality are also excellent and better than expected. I only noticed it with this hood, but after that it makes a big difference in handling. This adds extra grip to the hold. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap at all. If you are looking for a small/minimal hood look no further. I think you will be more than satisfied with it.
