Review on 🐾 Heated Small Pet Bed by Oster by Tammy Horner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thought it wouldn't work but 3 cats LOVE it

I ordered this bed through the Revain Vine program. The one that came didn't seem to work, I didn't feel the heat. Asked for a replacement. The Vine program said the manufacturer doesn't have another one for the Vine program so I should keep the one I received and I don't have to write a review. Several months have passed. I plugged it in and was surprised! My kittens Linus and Perry loved it. That's where they are when they're not eating or cuddling with me. Perry tucked his chin into the V-shaped rim and liked to look out without raising his head. Linus had the whole back to stretch out to his full length. I'm sure they will both give 5 star beds. Linus and Perry went into their next life (together) and were succeeded by Teddy and Olivia. 2 days after arriving at my house, Teddy fell in love with the bed. Olivia put 2 paws on this bed and the other 2 paws on the unheated bed and decided that she should sleep in the third option, her carpeted cat town house. Teddy will probably give it 5 stars and Olivia will probably give it 3 or less. Why am I, a person who has never slept in it, giving it 4 stars? The cover is very easy to machine wash and dry. No shrinkage, no discoloration, plastic zipper fits perfectly, plush lining comes out clean and still feels soft. It didn't get dirty even though the cats vomited it up. Putting the lid on the foam rubber wasn't difficult. Linus and Perry were miniature cats, weighing about 5 pounds each, so I don't think they should have crushed the foam too much. However, the foam has already dissolved after a few weeks of use. Another reason to give a star is the price. Although I didn't pay, it looks like a few pieces of styrofoam taped together with a disposable heating pad underneath isn't worth anywhere near $100. A heating pad for people with Hi-Med-Lo controls and a UL rating costs $15. Even with a 300 percent margin at cost, $60 should suffice. Okay, maybe $80. But field test results with three kittens show this bed deserves every one of the 4 stars.
