Review on πŸ‘ž Dockers Edson Slip Loafer Black: Sleek and Stylish Slip-On Loafers for Every Occasion by Dave Phobia

Fits well but lacks comfort and quality

I've been wearing these shoes at work for exactly 9 months. I wear them 4 days a week for 8-9 hours a day. For the first 6 months my job didn't require walking - I just sat at the table all day (it was lame). My new job requires me to walk a little more, but only in the office for meetings. It doesn't need rough terrain or anything that weighs down the shoe. However, this week I noticed that the memory foam insert was rubbing under the ball of my right foot. I have had shoes worn in healing shells but never underfoot with an insole. That's why I call it a quality problem. The only other complaint I have is that the healing shell is uncomfortable when driving. It could be me, but then again, this is the first shoe to ever cause discomfort while driving. Otherwise the show looks good and serves its purpose. They are comfortable to wear and fit well. Most of my other shoes have lasted about 3 years but I expect they will need to be replaced by then. Therefore 3 stars for reasonable shoes. I got 1 star for having to buy insoles to deal with this wearing discomfort.

Pros
  • Flexible construction
Cons
  • Transparency
