My 9 year old loves this watch! I agree with the two points raised. With all the functions, it is very difficult to assemble for a child - my son would not have done it himself. Second, when setting digital information, make sure you have enough light to see the clock. The digital portion is small, but big enough for reading - just not quite for focusing and changing information. All in all I would still buy it again.
