Batman Kids' BAT5036 Time-Teaching Batman Watch: Black Canvas Band Edition Review

The watch looked very nice when it arrived, but the second day my son put it on he came home in tears. He said he was broken. The other arm had disengaged from the mullion and was dangling beneath the crystal. I expect the watch to be a bit more durable for a child.

These watches are great! The bright yellow stripe and Batman symbol on the dial look great. Also durable. I get a lot of compliments for that 💛🖤

Ordered for my son's birthday. I love the design (all the numerals are printed and the hour and minute hands are printed) but they broke the first time I wore them. Best Buy was quickly replaced, but the second one broke as well. The pins must be broken or loose as they fell out when first worn.

Bought as a Christmas present for my cousin's son, he was dying to learn how to tell time. My cousin says it was absolutely perfect for him. He was thrilled that it was a superhero watch, that he had his own watch and that it helped him tell the time. Apparently they helped him get dressed with a brief briefing on Friday and on Sunday he kept telling them what time it was and he usually managed it by looking at which hand showed the hour and which was the hour. Bought this watch as a gift for my grandson. I put it on the first day, the numbers came from the outside. So much for teaching him the time with this watch. So disappointing!

Great watch for a 5-7 year old who loves Batman. Because the strap is fabric and easily adjustable, even my son who just turned 5 can wear it. I love that it's a watch with a dial, but the outer dial helps you learn to tell the time by looking at the two dials. My son is about to be able to tell the time with a watch in a few weeks.

My boys wore this watch for a week and all the outside numbers were completely worn down to all black and as the youngest son needed the same they came in red a week later. Red is already starting to lose 15, 20, 30, 40, and 45.

The outer digits of the minutes were already worn and he only wore them twice. A bit disappointed because that's where he needs the most help.

Bought it for my son for Christmas. He liked the Batman logo and the fact that it's velcro so it's easy to put on and take off. He also likes that he can learn to read the time since the hours and minutes are written on his hands. That way he can't get the wrong time and it helps to know when to check in when he's out. If your child is learning to tell the time, this is a great watch.

I've bought this watch twice, each time the screen either cracked or scratched very quickly. Not intended for everyday use or intense activity.

It should be a watch for children. My daughter is small (okay, tiny) but she can wrap her wrist almost twice. It's a big disappointment to give a child a gift (she wanted a watch) and then the child doesn't get to use the new gift. Maybe it's the "obesity epidemic" I hear about all the time, but this watch fits me, so I don't know what kind of "kids" it's supposed to fit!

That's a great little watch. Good quality, especially considering the price, and nice design. I like that the clock hands have "hour" and "minute" written on them.

Great watch and looks great! Sealed the exterior numbers with clear nail polish as one reviewer suggested and so far it hasn't faded.

Our boys haven't used the watch yet (a birthday present this week) but so far I like it. The dial is easy to read, I like the "teaching" aspect of the minutes on the outside edge and the velcro strap. They were very cheap so I don't know how long I expect them to last. the time will show.

That went on for about a year and a half. I would estimate about a year of constant wear. Only one pin came out on one side. I still give it 5 stars because my 6 year old son learned to tell the time VERY well in the time he had it. I also like that the strap is not plastic and is velcro too. Fit my child very well. I'm not sure what to get next. I'm glad I made this purchase anyway.

Bought two; one blue and one red for my 7 and 8 year old sons and they love them. Great price and a great way to learn to tell the time.

Those hours don't last. Less than a week after Christmas, the numbers on the outer dial disappeared – washed away? I don't know, but nothing out of the ordinary happened, it wasn't worn in the shower, bed, etc. Over the next week, the hairpin fell off one side, leaving it hanging from a ribbon with a heartbroken child. Not that I would call it kid- or wallet-friendly given its short lifespan.

My grandson loved it for his 6th birthday! We just had to tell him not to play with the small dial! ;) It's easy to teach him to tell the time with this watch, cool and cool learning watch!

I thought it would be a great watch that will help my son to read time better, understand better and prepare for his daily life. He had trouble with the minutes and counting to 5. I thought it would be a great tool, but after the first day the minute numbers around the dial (counting to 5) were erased. He likes to wear it and can put it on and take it off himself. However, his timekeeping has improved only slightly as he still struggles to interpret the minute hand.

I love the clock and so does my son, but the minutes outside ticked by after a pair of socks. They sent me a new one and after wearing it once it happened again. So disappointed :(. Will try again because I have a special needs son who is struggling with time and needs minutes.
