Those hours don't last. Less than a week after Christmas, the numbers on the outer dial disappeared – washed away? I don't know, but nothing out of the ordinary happened, it wasn't worn in the shower, bed, etc. Over the next week, the hairpin fell off one side, leaving it hanging from a ribbon with a heartbroken child. Not that I would call it kid- or wallet-friendly given its short lifespan.
