Looks/sounds good - functionality can be confusing

The overall sound quality and design of the device appears to be good. My problem is related to the functionality of the product as some of the buttons have no real value. For example the menu button. There's no real menu that I found, or even a reason for it. The mode button doesn't toggle between modes as expected unless you're already connected via Bluetooth. For some reason you have to turn on the device and press "Standby" to go to "Vinyl". The same applies to most buttons on the device. The instructions also don't provide clear, concise illustrations of the functionality, so you have to press the same buttons and look at the screen to make any changes. In general, the sound is excellent, the recordings are reproduced well. It looks cool on your shelf but I think the instructions could use a little more work and clarification. ** TO UPDATE. This is my second after replacing my last one due to the platter warping. I've only had this for 1 month now and the same. disappointing

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • some difficulties
