I work outside in Arizona, it's summer, 110+, I have to have water with me, preferably cold! I bought 2 of these 24 oz to keep with me. I can be in the sun all day (8am-6pm) with these bottles in a golf cart, Kawasaki mule, or by my side - they stand in direct sun too, the ice stays on all day! refill, but at the end of the day there are still 8 ice cubes in the bottle - a little less or a big lump of course, but the main thing is that it stays cold even in direct sunlight! They are also available with two top styles: flip top or simple screw top. Both have handles, they even have an internal straw attachment. The colors are cool and the painting is heavy. I bought 2 more if you are looking for thermal performance to keep your drink cold in the heat these are amazing! I also use a 7-pocket AWP belt pouch for some light tools, and the 24-ounce bottle fits perfectly in the top pocket when I want to carry it around and don't need to store it when I'm not in the car.
