Finally a comfortable bedding set that fits my bed perfectly. I almost gave up buying sheets online. I never thought buying a sheet would be so difficult. My needs were simple. I wanted the sheets I had as a kid 60 years ago—crisp but not cardboard, smooth to the touch but definitely NOT slippery or silky (wicked), cool in the summer, and with a fitted sheet that actually folded the corner of the mattress . and STAY wrapped. how hard can it be Well, after at least three unsuccessful attempts to find anything, in a last-ditch effort I bought a set of these sheets before throwing the towel (sheet?) away. I bought three more sets. These sheets are pretty much what I described in my wish list above. I have a queen mattress that is about 13 inches thick, counting the mattress topper. These sheets fit easily. I think the mattress could be a few inches thicker and still be ok. The corner pockets are deep and appear to be designed to securely grip the corner of the mattress. It's difficult to describe the feel of something; However, the leaves are smooth but not smooth in any way. They appear crispy straight out of the dryer, but they're soft and medium-bodied, if that makes sense. Definitely not hard. I think they are a very good buy.
