I chose this display as the permanent screen for ADS-B reception. It reads well and has a decent viewing angle for my purposes. The touchscreen works well, on the Raspberry Pi 4 it was plug and play. Complete lack of assembly instructions, but it's fairly easy to figure out how everything comes together and assemble quickly. I spent more time removing the protective layer from the acrylic parts than putting everything together. I found that it is necessary to connect the backlight from the outside, the RPi 3.5A power supply does not support external HDD, SDR and display. However, the external power supply caused a problem as the B+ pins of the touchscreen and backlight are connected in parallel with no isolation, so 5V on the USB port prevented the RPi from booting or even turning on. I had to solder a new connector A onto the touchscreen's USB cable and left the B+ cable unconnected. now everything is in order. I'm not a fan of the HDMI and USB locations, but I understand that they should be there when the RPi is mounted on the back of the case. However, they are pushy. Despite the downsides, I still think this display is worth it's value. I can't say I would buy another one, but I really don't need a second one.
