This material is stretchy and therefore fits very well. I thought I would get hot in it but I think it has a moisture wicking material because it actually keeps you pretty cool even though you are out in the sun. I've worn it to tubing and haven't gotten a sunburn on my upper body. I also used a hood to protect my face and my face didn't burn either. What got tanned were the parts of my body that weren't wearing a rashguard (my legs are so red and my HANDS were burned from the sun). I think this is a good control group to see if this rash is actually protecting you from sunburn.
