I have only opted for raised covers (FPS Master). The textured rubber doesn't look as smooth as the XBOX One controller, but it definitely feels like it belongs on the joysticks. . When used correctly, they feel as comfortable as a modern controller. The range of movement has been increased just enough to give you significant control over the finer joystick movements when playing Fortnite or Mario Odyssey. And it's just convenient. Ironically, the Joy Con accessory that came with the console didn't feel right to me. My thumbs felt constrained by the thin structure of the grip, and they would cramp whenever I had to move the joysticks down for long periods of time, like aiming down while playing Enter the Gungeon. These thumb caps solved this problem in a simple way, increasing the height of the thumbs and making the joysticks easier to move. Once you find the right thumb caps for your Joy Cons, there's no going back. This one is for me.
