I would say these pants run true to size or a little big but not too big. They definitely give you space. I wish it was an XS size but the S is comfortable and stays in place. I will say that after wearing them I noticed a small bruise on mine so I contacted TomTiger and they refunded me with no problems even though I wore them once. I will definitely buy a replacement because I loved them. I had a great shopping experience with TomTiger.
