I really liked this card set because I mainly use it for making cards. The color was like Ceylon sapphire blue, not the bluish gray I was expecting. It was good because I hesitated to buy it because I thought there was too much gray in it. It has a shimmer. It's not metallic as the name suggests and it's not shiny. Map makers will be familiar with the description of flicker. This is thick coverstock so don't expect it to go through your printer. I'm not sure if this will even get through printers at Staples or other do-it-yourself printers. The ink smears until it dries, which takes a long time. The dye-based ink is absorbed into the cardboard. Pigmented ink embossed for longevity is what I do. Do not leave the embossing gun on for too long or the shank will begin to curl. Keep your weapon hot and move fast. Overall I am very satisfied and will buy again.
