I've had this fan for almost a year now. I'm very impressed with it and haven't had any problems. I have two young grandchildren and they love that they can't stick their little fingers into any working parts! In terms of performance, it is important to remove and clean the side filters from time to time, as this significantly reduces airflow. This device runs very quietly and fluidly. The hit at the lowest settings is significant and I'm very pleased as my house gets warm and this fan does an excellent job of cooling the tightest of spaces. The oscillation function works great and I can tilt the fan up and down. I notice that when I bought it in October 2017, the price was $32 lower than it is now. I would understand if anyone hesitates to buy at the new price but I can say I have not found any other such blower design that performs as well! I highly recommend it.
