Review on 🧢 O'Neill 2mm Neoprene Beanie by Jeff Richardson

I wear this in place of a zip hood or hooded wetsuit for diving in Southern California (LA/DC/Catalina). It keeps my head warm in temperatures above 55 degrees Fahrenheit (13 C). If it were a bit colder I would recommend wearing a regular diving hood. If you're buying it for anything other than surfing or diving, be aware that it deadens most noise, so using it in a group will be difficult. where you talk to each other over the water (although you can fold it up so your ears are open, which is what I do when I'm on a boat talking to people between dives). The sizes are a bit big. I would recommend ordering one size smaller than you would normally order. A lot of people have asked me where I got this hat from when I dive and a few people even asked me to borrow it. Overall I think this is a really great alternative to a scuba hood for diving conditions above 55F and I am very glad I bought it.
