Great belt. best in Belts

I've been wearing normal leather belts for a while now or am trying to wear them. This belt solved all three of my problems. What, where are these problems? 1. Stretching/wearing out holes in leather straps. This may be because they use crappy or faux leather, but this reduces the usefulness of the belt. 2. The holes are "never" in the right place for my waist size, so they've always been too loose or too tight.3. I have to wear pants/shorts of a certain style/color to work and, especially during Covid, try to damn 'find' a new pair when they're worn out, the right type (cargo) and the right color. was almost impossible. This meant buying from multiple brands. Why was that a problem? Because some brands are torturous as hell and make their belt loops so tight that you can't "slip" the end of the belt through more than once - in my case, that meant those lovely "leather" belts actually also 6" are long enough to "fit" and not have an entire section of strap that flaps around and doesn't hold up when the latch-loop derailleur (or, like the holes, just wears out over time). The last of these problems was the biggest problem for me.What good is a belt that doesn't bleed because it doesn't "slip" through pant loops and most of it just hangs in the air?Of the three problems, this one I couldn't deal with. However, this ratchet style belt is thin enough that even if it were slightly shorter than the leather belt (which, if I made it short enough, wouldn't have holes that would fit me anyway), it's thin enough to go with through loops on the pants more than once - the problem is solved. Now. If only we could get the damn apparel makers to stop making loops that tight altogether, or making "phone cases" so damn small you can't fit a big, modern cellphone or some other damn thing can be safely stowed in it. Stupid things they do indiscriminately from one company to another. but that would be wishful thinking. giggle
