It's hard to imagine how big this thing is. I don't want to use a mic stand and it takes up most of my desk which means I have to turn it off every time I end a meeting. I bought my son a Yeti Nano a while ago and it's a lot smaller. Besides, it looks nicer. The Nano has a sleek design with combined volume and mute buttons, as well as a color-changing ring that shows when the microphone is muted. This microphone has a robust, heavy-duty metal housing. However, an online teardown reveals that there's very little inside to justify the size and powerful stuff. I assume this helps reduce the vibrations? But the sound quality isn't that different from the Nano, which is half the size and weight. The added microphone modes are nice, but I don't see myself using them. If someone does ASMR and wants stereo, I get it. But most people will use the default cardioid and spatial width options, and they are on the Nano too. Save your money, buy a smaller one instead.
