I only discovered this after ordering this unit to replace a broken unit in my house. I have since replaced this light with an LED and am very happy with it as it gives more light and consumes less energy. It also complies with the California Energy Code for sealed light output. That doesn't mean it's a bad device, it's not. This is a good device that does exactly what it promises. It's just that now there's a better way to get the job done.
