Works great. on food dispensers
The trick is to snap the lid open - fairly quickly - after the foil has been pulled out. This presses the foil/paper against the metal teeth. Then release the pressure on the cover and simply remove the cut piece. The only drawback is that the lid is always ajar - very annoying for OCD types. I bought another type (sliding cutter) for PE film. This style works great on foil, wax, and parchment paper. It is adjustable, with multiple slots for inserting reel seats to accommodate different lengths.
