🔪 WENKO Slide Refillable Wrap Dispenser: Convenient Aluminium & Plastic Tin/Foil Cutter in Green Review

Seemingly simple design but not easy to use. The film roll does not turn well, causing it to break. You have to squeeze it to cut the foil, I couldn't do it with one hand while holding the foil with the other. It doesn't align properly.

At first I wanted something for my husband because he had a stroke and it was difficult for him to use different products. I use it more often now for my slide. You pull out what you need and squeeze it. You have a slide. No fuss trying to rip off a piece and have it break in weird ways.

This thing is amazing. The foil I keep in it unrolls smoothly and cuts perfectly every time. It took me a minute to realize I had to close the lid to make an incision, but once I cleared that hurdle, everything was smooth. I had no idea how handy a diaper changing dispenser could be! I order two more for cling film and parchment paper.

I wanted this cutter because my store-bought boxes of foil, cling film, etc. always fall apart, no matter how careful I am! This only works for standard sized rolls, not long rolls, so keep that in mind. This neatly cuts everything I've tried so far - you have to press hard. They fit perfectly in my drawers and even fold up.

The trick is to snap the lid open - fairly quickly - after the foil has been pulled out. This presses the foil/paper against the metal teeth. Then release the pressure on the cover and simply remove the cut piece. The only drawback is that the lid is always ajar - very annoying for OCD types. I have an old Wrap Master for my foil dispenser. Works great but the plastic clasp didn't hold up well so I decided to replace it. I couldn't find the same brand for home use so I read a number of reviews on what was available and settled on this one. It's terrible compared to Wrap Master. This requires more detailed instruction, you need to "click" or press VERY STRONGLY on the top to start the cutter, release, THEN the slide pull out. I bought 3 of these because I didn't notice the word 'foil' in the product name and didn't pay full price. You cut through the foil, but you have to open the top somehow if you want to be sure the cut is made. I use 2 foil products, a premium Reynolds and a extender from Dollar Tree.
