Don't waste time with this product. Once you take your iPod apart and understand how these clips work, you'll find that these things are useless. Go to YouTube and find a video of a guy removing the back cover with blades. Buy an O-knife and a set of square-tipped blades. Cost me $2 for the blades and $6 for a cheap knife. The square blades work perfectly to slide down and back those ridges and you can keep the blade in its sheath while you work. I opened one up with those plastic things and when it came off I had a washer bent out of those inner clamps. The second one, knowing where the clamps were, came off easily and can't be said to have ever been taken apart. Much luck.
