Same as OEM for Anti Theft
I decided to try Smart Car Key Engine Start on my 2017 Ford Expedition. The dealer is asking a lot and I wanted an extra key. Reading online you need TWO key fobs to program the extra ones so I was fine. Using the instructions from an online Ford dealer I was able to program it without any problems. I use it as a spare so haven't used it every day so not sure about durability. However, it looks identical to OEM devices.
