- These straps work great - They are MUCH longer than I need but simply remove the buckle, trim the excess strap and use a fire clicker to trim the cut end short seal so it doesn't work t untangle and then tuck the cut end into the buckle where it will remain permanently attached (a good factory cut end is something you see/use regularly).
